2 weeks agoThis is beautifully maintained. It was slightly too 'young' for my precocious nearly 4 year old friend, but we got a whole lot of fun out of it for him, the unlimited time in play, is priceless to this family, and we will come back in a couple months when his baby sister is around 10 months old perhaps. I got lovely photos; however I don't know how to block out his face with a cute heart or whatever; in order to post much. Staff was lovely, even offered me a safety pin when I off-hand muttered that I needed one for my aging-elastic skirt I think this is the loveliest place for 3 and under, safe and clean, and well contained so you don't have to worry about possibly escaping charges. I simply don't go to Sweet Play because I cannot keep track of where children are, and the exit(s) is far far far far far too accessible for children, and possible nefarious individuals. It is not safe at all. This exit at Spark the Senses feels manageable and watchable. That matters the most to this family, and it's enough reason alone to return repeatedly.

a month agoWe had our 1 year old birthday party here. The space is great for kids. The man that was working there was horrendous. In an email received by the company, there was a contract that was supposed to be signed upon arrival (never received it or signed it) and all the kids were supposed to have a waiver that was filled out prior to the party (never checked by the man who hid in the back the entire time). The company boasts about they clean up unless you bring an outside vendor in. I made a balloon garland myself. Call me entitled, but when they say they clean up I just expected them to just throw the balloons away. The attitude started from the man when I said that per the contract it doesnt state what they do or don't clean up, it just states they clean after your party unless it was stuff you were taking home. I would've just started cleaning earlier if I knew. Also, the party was $470 - so I really didn't feel like throwing away a balloon arch was out of the realm for the price I was paying. Regardless, I got the broom and started having everybody pop balloons so we could hurry and get out of there by the time frame. Yes - I was annoyed. He came over and told me to give him the broom since I was going to be complaining about it. I told him I had it under control. He left and came back and continued to keep arguing with me about he didn't understand the disconnect and so on and so forth and if I'm still going to complain he will take care of it. One of the balloons that were popped had confetti. So of course he made a big deal about that as well and I had to explain to him that I wasn't anticipating on having to pop all the balloons (the other 4 that had confetti I made sure weren't popped) It clearly states no confetti, so yes. That shouldn't of happened - but I had the broom and was getting it up. Let me clarify that I was not upset to clean. The other parents in the party had already started cleaning the tables off, throwing everything away packing all the big trash in a spot that we were told to put before the drama happened. It was the fact that I am not a vendor. There's no clear line between what they clean up and don't. Because if its outside decorations that means the table cloths, food, and the little table topper I had would've needed to be cleaned up myself. Which I would've allotted time to get done. And for $500 for a little 2 hour party to be treated the way I was is insane. We will never be returning again. I will be getting with the owner just to let her know she probably should change the wording so that it isn't just the vendors - that if you bring in any outside decorations in general that you need to take them down and out yourself. UPDATE: The owner got ahold of me after reading my review. I really wish it was her who had been servicing the party instead of the man who did because I can tell we would've had a completely different interaction and outcome. She was SO sweet. She genuinely cares about her job and making people's events go smoothly. I bumped the rating from 1 star to 3 stars just based off my interaction with her because it was not her fault that the guy was so rude. It doesn't take away that he still ruined the party for me and treated me poorly. I can't say that I will ever return there, but I know that anybody who gets to deal with the owner (who sounds likes she's very hands on for everything there) will have a much better experience than I did. Hopefully that man will work on his customer service skills or find a job that suits him not working with the general public.

a month agoWe just had our second party at Spark the Senses, and once again it was an amazing experience! The space is so fun, engaging, and perfect for kids everything is thoughtfully set up to keep them entertained and happy. The staff is always organized and helpful, which makes hosting so much easier. This year, we came more prepared and brought less with us, and clean-up was an absolute breeze such a game changer! The only “downside” is honestly a testament to how great they are. They’re so popular that it’s hard to extend your time. But that just shows how in-demand and loved this place is. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend for anyone planning a stress-free and memorable party! 🎉
