Professional all the way! This place is gorgeous and so is the equipment. Ernesto is a genius sound engineer that can do anything for you really. What I love about him is that he is super professional but most importantly sweet. Before recording with Ernesto I had never professionally recorded a song or rap before. I was nervous and to make matters worst I thought I had only one take in me because my throat had been badly damaged and was still in the healing stages. After sharing this with Ernesto he started rapidly adjusting many pieces of equipment and within what felt like seconds he was ready to test my voice levels without me having to hurt myself. It was an amazing sight to behold as a filmmaker. We were ready to record in minutes after Ernesto literally dissected my voice and prepared for my worst fear possibly occurring. Ernesto pumped me up and then he hit record. Our first take together as a team was amazing. He was so energetically inspiring with his support, positivity and honesty that he was able to get 7 great takes out of me. The best part was watching him work on my track while bopping his head with such a love for music in his heart and soul. If you need an audio lab? This is the place. By the way everything and room had been purified to prevent the spread of Covid. Ernesto had also given me equipment that had been clean and not used for 72 hours. The enclosed studio had not been used for 72 hours as well. Social distancing is possible in this very spacious old New York City building. Everyone wore a mask as well and about 10FT away from each other. At all times I was surrounded with disinfectant wipes, sprays and hand sanitizers. As a New Yorker living in a very different NYC I felt safe here. I look forward to visiting Sticky Audio Labs.
