4 months agoBeautiful views and unspoiled forest areas abound! This hike follows a well maintained trail that is easy to follow, has mostly gentle grades, and should be accessible for anyone of moderate fitness level. Good shoes or hiking boots recommended for portions of the trail where roots and rocks make footing tricky, to avoid a turned ankle. We hiked the loop without water in mid-March without problems, but I will take water along next time. In summertime carrying water would be essential.
