We are from out of town. We tried to go a couple years ago when they were upstairs but found them to not be ADA accessible for my immobile wife. Came back to Austin and decided to visit after finding out they had expanded and were downstairs and much more accessible. Found the price to be quite steep for what it was. Lots of toy displays around, but found them to be more of a display than a museum. A little bit of info provided on a handful of displays but overall underwhelming from a “museum” perspective. Found a handful of the games not working correctly, including the Xbox with a faulty wire, several games turned off, and a few that buttons just didn’t work as expected. From being told coming in, that this boasts a selection of “any arcade game you could think of”, we found that it missed the mark on that. There are signs that advertise beer and wine out front, but the bar area was overcrowded with junk and not in use. Other access to any kind of beverages was not prominent. Was really excited to check this place out but felt it fell short of any expectations we had and felt pillaged by the fee just to access.

What an amazing place! It’s lined from top to bottom with toys and video games from the last several decades. My son and I loved doing the scavenger hunts! Definitely coming back!
