in the last weekI've gone there once before and never had such a bad experience. This time I'm walking into a concert where you hear the musician / singer more than you can actually have any kind of conversation with a person that's only sitting 2 ft away from you. I asked the waitress if the manager could have him turn his mic down just a little bit and the manager said no. We left and my ears were ringing like I had been to an actual rock concert. If this is a new manager she's a very poor one. I hope the taylorville break that will be opening will have better management who doesn't let the entertainment supersede a quality dining experience. I want to be able to have a conversation and not have to scream at the top of my lungs. I've been to many places that have had entertainment like that and you can still have a conversation. In my opinion management seems to be the problem because customer service should come first. Across the street Rabbit's foot (they own Lucky 13 near the ballpark) had exceptionally excellent food so thank you terrible manager because of you we found a great restaurant. Whoever owns the break you need to fire that manager whoever owns the break needs to rethink management.

a week agoI didn't eat this time but the food did look amazing. The staff is awesome and the bar is a fun bar to go to with people.

a week agoServer, Mariah, looked at my table 3 separate times and wouldn’t come over. Was sitting there over 20 minutes, in a very slow bar, and watched everybody else get taken care of with no acknowledgment. As a server, I would never treat anyone that way.
