The Little Towns Children’s Museum

We absolutely adored this place. In a world of indoor play spaces that are incredibly stimulating and end up with kids bouncing off the walls, this space is focused on imaginative play. At least on a weekday it was incredibly calm and even on a weekend even if there are more kids, the activities lend themselves to still being a more calm, interactive, imaginative play space. My 4 year old adored it. It’s very thoughtful with so many little nooks so everyone isn’t in one space together, so even with other kids it’s not overwhelming. And so many creative touches! Just loved it. We’ll be back.

Disappointing! We took 2 boys 3 1/2 years old. The place was a mess. It was 10:30 on a Tuesday. The grocery store looked like it had been ransacked...hardly any groceries on the shelves. The mail truck and the fire engine car batteries died within minutes of our starting time. When I asked about replacing or charging the battery I was told that the children in the first session had used the vehicles and there were no batteries available. The boys tried to go in the tent, but it was full of wood and items other children had left in it. They had an ok time. Doubt they will ask to go back. Staff was courteous.
