in the last weekWe had dinner here on a Saturday night and though we had reservations for a table, we decided to sit at the bar. We shared the beet salad to start which was tasty and a very good size for sharing. My sister had the steak and I had the chicken, both were very large portions. The only thing I would change is how cold the air was coming out of the vents in the bar area, it was freezing! I did love the food and the vibey atmosphere though!

in the last weekWilder completely exceeded our expectations! My mother and I came for brunch and genuinely enjoyed every single detail, from the vibrant atmosphere to the incredible food and drinks. We are already planning our next visit with more family and friends. The Drinks:The cocktail program here is clearly crafted with immense thought and care. We tried the Oven Roasted Bloody Mary, Pop & Fizz, and Coffee Shop Talk. Every single option was balanced, creative, and expertly mixed. The Food:We shared a few plates, and the flavors were outstanding:Burrata & Spring Peas: Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented.Mafaldine Alla Vodka: An absolute standout! It was rich, comforting, and truly "chef's kiss."Caesar Salad: The dressing and croutons were delicious and homemade. The lettuce quality fell slightly short the day we went, but the overall flavor was still great.

in the last weekFantastic experience at Wilder in Philly this May 2026 UPenn Wharton Reunion weekend! Wilder came highly recommended by friends, several of whom told me they regularly host their board meeting dinners in the beautiful upstairs dining room — and now I can see why. Huge shoutout to Prior, the event manager, who went above and beyond trying to expand our reservation from 11 to 14 people before the weekend even started — and then our group somehow grew again from 14 to 20. Carolyn, our server, handled it all with incredible grace, professionalism, and warmth throughout the night. The entire team was accommodating at every step, the food was excellent, and the vibe was outstanding. Really impressed by the hospitality and execution from the Wilder team. Thanks for making our Wharton MBA 25th reunion even more memorable!

in the last weekOnce again I had the Grilled Salmon Salad for lunch and it did not disappoint! It is so fresh and the salmon was cooked very well. (Perhaps I would have preferred it cooked a minute less, so it's even more tender in the middle, but it was delicious nonetheless!) The bartenders are knowledgeable and allow you to taste the wine before committing to a glass. Wilder is still one of my favorite places in the city (since they opened)
