in the last weekFirst thing first my waiter tonight was the only good thing about the night. Let me start with saying we arrived for our 5:15 reservation and when being seated by the hostess we were promptly told before even sitting down “your table has another reservation at 7 that gives you 2 hours which should be enough time” .. honestly I do understand if a Saturday night is busy. What I don’t understand is having a timer set on dinner before even being seated. So let’s talk food. My partner and I both ordered teriyaki salmon it did not arrive as pictured on the online menu display- which i understand may change and not be updated but, I did expect that’s what I was ordering so to my surprise when I received the meal and it is something different I was confused . But, if the dish is tasty it would have been less an issue. Thing is it was terrible everything was cold the salmon was very uninteresting. The online photo depicts a nicely grilled piece of fish but what we received had no such grill. The dish was a very sad piece of salmon with rice and snap peas. The rice was cold the snap peas were oily, and as if the fish wasn’t bad enough the mango salsa reminded me of something from a jar.. The dishes were a complete waste of money and left much to be desired. We also ordered the Asian cauliflower and a cocktail Again the cauliflower was cold too. Luckily the cocktail was good. The other guests with us at the table had similar complaints about the food being cold not tasting good. And here’s the thing someone might read this and think maybe I’m picky.. nope… During our dinner we saw 3 dishes be sent back to the kitchen. I also overheard a group of guests waiting by the elevator discussing the dissatisfaction with the food quality. So to finalize my review I would like to add me and my family have been to Oliver’s dozens of times since opening and the last few times-have been considerably bad. When discussing if we wanted to go to dinner here this most recent visit everyone was skeptical. we decided maybe the crab shells in the ravioli last time were just an off day or the soggy fries were just a busy kitchen. I’m realizing now that it’s not an off day it’s a noticeable lack of quality with each visit. And for that I think we will be avoiding a return visit for the foreseeable future.

a week agoI visited this location for the first time a couple of months ago and have wanted to return ever since. The food was wonderful, they had an excellent wine list, and the staff & atmosphere were lovely. Can't wait to return.
