Only downside was the sommelier interaction with the wine pairings (and pour sizes) left a lot to be desired. Would not recommend getting the wine pairing with the tasting menu, just buy by the glass. Otherwise, outstanding experience.

I've had some truly great dining experiences in the past, but this is the first one that I would describe as touching and inspired--not a single aspect of it lacked anything. The food is simply out of this world, with the right balance between classical and innovative. There were 3 of us and we all got the Signature Tasting Menu, so we sampled practically everything. Singling out any one dish would be unfair. The corn starter, the tuna, the green beans, the halibut, everything was amazing. There was not a single dish that was off. The wine list has a very broad and diverse selection, and if one is stumped, well, there is knowledgeable and perceptive advice. Service is impeccable. Our server was informed and attentive. We were impressed that she had knowledge and experience beyond the food industry, that spanned community projects and the arts. Price is on par w fine dining, but this is great value given how perfect our experience was. This is obviously a project built with both skill and love, with the entire venture and its people genuinely grounded in the environment and community around them. Hats off to Chef Wyatt, Chef Ryder and the entire team. My only worry is this: how can you surpass such perfection? But that's a problem for another time!

in the last weekWhat a fun way to kick off our girls weekend in Portland. This restaurant set the bar pretty high for anywhere else we go in town. We did the 5 course meal and had bottle service. From the presentation to the first bite, everything was impeccable! Our server Mike was top notch. Caring, patient personable and very thoughtful. He even brought out a special dessert for our table as we were celebrating a milestone event for one of our friends.
