a week agoRoom was very clean and spacious but remote stopped working. Breakfast was lacking selection but Texas shape waffle is fun. Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby including Black's Barbeque. Easy drive to either Austin or San Antonio.

a week agoWe came down for a volleyball tournament that was literly down the street from the hotel when I reserved it i thought it would be a decent place but once you walk in there is a smell im glad the room didnt have that smell but what we did find was roaches everywhere and we didn't have any food left out either it was in the fridge. Might look clean but it really isn't I would not recommend this place to anyone especially when infested of roaches.. First and last time we will stay here

2 months agoStayed here and it was huge mistake. Checking in was nice. They were kind at that time. Got to our room and the room smelled bad, which I can get past but the bed also smelled terrible. Sheets and blanket didnt feel clean at all. Smelled like wet dog even though the hotel isnt pet friendly and sweat. Called front desk and they said we could get more sheets. Told them we were headed out and asked if we could grab it on our way back in. They said of course. We went out, came back, rang the bell for help, and a new guy working the front desk came out. Told him about the smell on the sheets and his response was "ok I can give you a refund and check you out now". I laughed thinking he was joking and he said "keep laughing, I'll check you out right now". I then realized he was serious. I said "really?" And he said "yeah, I dont have any cleaning staff here so you can just leave". My wife asked why? What did we do? Youre kicking us out of room? And he said "its up to me. I can check you out and you can leave". I told him we were told earlier to come to him for new sheets. Don't need a cleaning crew just need new sheets. He was just quiet and typing on his computer....sat there waiting for a minute or so and I asked "soooo...can we do that? Get new sheets from you" and he finally said "yeah I can do that" then typed some more, went and got a cover, and we went to bed". Super unprofessional and rude. He doesnt need to be working there. The next morning I went to the coffee machine to make a coffee and the water reservoir was gross! Nothing was that great about the room or the stay and the service...horrifying!
