Bugs Bugs Bugs and more Bugs -- on a Bday We had the worst experience at Bida Manda. Poor customer service was just the start. We travelled an hour to celebrate a Birthday - the first bug was in a the drink we ordered, acknowledged and replaced with one more, not sure if the bug was just taken out and the drink was brought back to our table. Entrées - we had BUGS not one but multiple of them in our pad thai and fried rice. The waiter who served did not even have the courtesy to let to come back and apologize or acknowledge. Still cannot fathom how an upscale downtown restaurant which has high rating has gnats and bugs in the restaurant. Dumb explanation by the management - some how the bamboo design might have holes which bred gnats/ bugs . I am sure others had gnats in their food but likely missed them because of the low lighting. A Upscale restaurant which charges $30 dollars an entrée has poor hygiene , paint peeling off the walls ... I am hoping they address this issue as this a health hazard and hopefully people are careful. Thanks Bida Manda for Ruining our Special Day.
