I wish I took some photos to show off the amazing experience we had here! The cheddar biscuits were delectable.(I really don’t usually like biscuits) They were moist and flavorful. The Thai Chili mocktail was also packed with flavor and I could’ve easily drank several. The risotto and pizzas were perfectly done and the basque cheesecake and passionfruit crémeux were just the right way to finish off our meal. Both were light, sweet, and tart in all the right ways. Our service was fantastic as well!! I believe our servers name was Jazz, she had a very bright and cheery demeanor and made dining a pleasure. Highly recommend, we will be back!

We had a nice experience overall. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was very friendly. The food was good, but the pricing felt mismatched for what the restaurant experience is. The feeling was upscale farmhouse, but with a haute cuisine bill. For example, one slice of avocado toast was $18 (it would have been $22 if we had added an egg). If menu prices were about 25% lower, we would have left feeling very satisfied. Our total came to about $110 for brunch for a family of three (with tax and tip) without any alcoholic drinks, just one coffee and one tea. All in all, we enjoyed our visit, but given the price point, it’s probably not somewhere we’d return to regularly.

Honestly I was hesitant to do this because the food here is outstanding, and the owners seem like really nice folks. First couple times we came here, incredible. The following two times, less so, and there was a common denominator between the two - bar seating. First occasion: After good first impressions, my wife and I went back for cocktails and light dinner at the bar, since we were very impressed by the quality during our previous dining experience. When we asked the bartender about the literal size of the drinks (since we were looking for cocktails with higher volume as opposed to shorts like Bees Knees), we got a very curt answer from a person whom we before then had good experiences with. Seemed out of the blue, but we moved on. People have bad days, and the food again, is incredible. Moving on to this evening, we went back again for drinks and light fare, after a long wait from the previous experience. Unfortunately, this was much worse and unwelcoming. Not sure if it's because we sat at the "bar" table instead of the actual bar, but it felt like the busy bartender and a very disinterested/borderline sarcastic waitress was playing hot potato with who had to deal with us. We would have sat at the bar if suggested to do so! We are neighbors and live in the community basically right next door, it stinks to go into a place and feel like you violated some unwritten rule that then causes waitstaff to ignore you. Again, we love the food here, but the most recent experience soured us enough to write this review. It wasn't super busy, but it felt like we were bothering you even just for drinks, and then again when we were waiting for someone to grab our card to pay. Rambling aside, my constructive criticism as a customer would be: Bramble, please don't seat folks at the tables next to your bar for bar seating if the bartender is unable to accommodate it in a normal way or if it's going to feel like you're bothering a busy waitperson to be seated there. 🫤
