in the last weekSiara was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, cheerful, and charismatic! We came up from Atlanta to celebrate a birthday and Siara has made this trip very memorable. She suggested that we return anytime but definitely in the fall for harvest. We will definitely be back! She was so good I shouted…how do we tip you?! She was so gracious. Thank you Si C! We will be back soon!

in the last weekWe booked Chateau Elan for our daughter’s wedding for hotel accommodations. We prepaid in advance for over five rooms and then they charged us upon arrival refusing to give us a credit for forcing us to report it to law-enforcement. The rooms were not clean and while we stayed at the hotel, they did not clean our rooms at all. There were bug infestations in both rooms, and I was personally bit by a spider. The hotel is understaffed, and the phone system is inoperable. Many times we tried to call the front desk and the phone would not work at all. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk and it just rang over and over and over forcing me to walk down to ask for assistance. All of these reports were made to the management and they have refused to assist us. I reluctantly give negative reviews because I try to resolve it with the owner directly. There is tremendous disorganization and how you book rooms for a wedding. There’s one department you have to go through to book rooms for weddings, but they don’t communicate with the actual hotel or the spa with regard to those bookings. This lack of connection and discord has caused a wonderful memory to be tarnished. Apparently, Tami is the director of bookings and has conducted herself in a very unprofessional manner, not offering any assistance or relief. Such a beautiful hotel, but such poor management. Room service was also disappointing. It took 2-3 hours to receive food. My mother-in-law actually stayed in the hotel and she was unable to use her room at all because there was construction ongoing adjacent to her to the hotel. She reported this to the front office and they did nothing. I was also assured by the front office manager that we would be credited for her room, but that has yet to be reflected on our charges. Upon checkout, we were supposed to have late checkout that was not recorded by Madison who did all of our bookings. We were rushed out by a team of cleaners who walked in on my daughter adjacent to our room in the shower after we asked her not to enter the room. Such an invasion of privacy and a violation. When we reached out at the hotel to complain about these issues to ask for relief, the initial Booker, Madison told us that none of these reports were ever made to the front desk, which is false. The entire phone system was down so we had to personally report all of these complaints to the front desk, which were made to Joe who is the manager of the spa who is trying to do his best to help and also the front desk manager of the main hotel. As of this date four days after the wedding, we are still battling on email with a lady named Tami Chandler, who is refusing to give me credit for the overcharges and who is refusing to assist us. Essentially forcing us to contact law-enforcement to resolve this matter, which is absolutely unacceptable. I reported these issues to the hotel and we had the runaround for days and days and days versus the hotel, taking responsibility and accountability. They banned me from ever staying at the hotel, even though they stole thousands of dollars from our family and ruined the day. this was their way to handle it. It is unbelievable that this hotel conducts business in this manner and shameful trust me I would never recommend anyone staying at a hotel where there are infestations of bugs, spiders, and terrible terrible people that do not care about other human beings and they’re special moments You banned my family Tammy Chandler!

in the last weekWe stayed for one night on our road trip and the room was beautiful, spacious, quiet, and very well maintained. We ate at Louis’ and the food was excellent. The manager Nicole is a true gem. She truly goes above and beyond. Unfortunately, there were some rude guests at the bar and Nicole handled them with such professionalism we were very impressed. The hotel is very lucky to have a manager like Nicole and we hope they recognize and appreciate her.
