Our reservation attendance number constantly switched prior to our reservation date. DJ was very accomodating and never made me feel like a pain. The moment we arrived to seconds after we left the whole team was treated like royalty. Thank you so much DJ for being professional, pleasant and so attentive. Thanks to the GM for introducing himself. We had an amazing experience!
I wanted to like this place so badly because we live very close and had been wanting to come here for a while. Came in the other night for restaurant week which was a great deal. It took sooooo longgggg my goodness. I was surprised our kids sat still and patiently waited because we were there for HOURS. Like, too long! I understand they were pretty busy but still. Between each course was waiting and then after we were done there was more waiting. We dine out a lot and we’re also in general patient people but this was just too much. I had the tuna carpaccio which was just ok. My husband’s steak was just ok and my scallops were bitter because the grill marks were just too burnt. All in all kind of a disappointing experience. Our server was amazing and very attentive. It wasn’t his fault that everything took too long. Not sure we will return.
For a restaurant that charges as much as they do, my party of four was very disappointed in their meals during restaurant week. Our waitress and the table service was impeccable, and the bussers and runners were very attentive. The problem was with the food meant to showcase the restaurant to locals. Our meals consisted of an appetizer, entree, and dessert for each of us. The appetizers were the best part of the meal, although the lamb lollipops were thin. The tomato sauces that accompanied the chicken parm and blackened salmon vegetables were metallic in taste, the pasta undercooked and clearly not made from scratch (sad for an Italian restaurant meant to be finer dining), and the scallops and short rib were rubbery. Lastly, the tiramisu dessert was clearly frozen and had become over soggy from defrosting. We immediately threw out the 15% return coupons offered to restaurant week guests.
Attended a Bridal Shower and everything was lovely...from the room, wait staff and food.
