Very timely, professional, but costs are 25% too high

I requested a quote to expand my existing sprinkler system and unfortunately the experience left me a bit disappointed overall. In the confirmation email, there was mention of a $125 tune-up fee, but it was buried deep within a long block of narrative text and not made obvious upfront. I only realized this later, which felt somewhat misleading. When the technician arrived, I clearly stated that I did not want a tune-up. I was only looking for a quote. If a tune-up was required in order to provide that quote, when I said I didn't want a tune up the entire visit should have ended right there. To their credit, they did handle the situation professionally. The technicians themselves were courteous, professional, and easy to work with. We ultimately landed on a compromise of a $79 service charge for the visit, which I appreciated. My recommendation to anyone considering them would be to read all incoming emails and confirmations from them very carefully so there are no surprises. Because of the communication issues, I personally wouldn’t recommend them, even though the staff themselves were professional.
