in the last weekThis place was a complete disappointment. The hotel smelled terrible the moment we walked in, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. Everything felt old and outdated not in a charming way, just neglected. The ceiling was covered in dust, the paint was peeling off the walls, and the walls themselves were visibly dirty. It honestly felt unsanitary. To make matters worse, the pool was green, absolutely disgusting, and completely out of service which was one of the main reasons we booked. On top of that, one of the shampoo dispensers in the bathroom was ripped off the wall, and the tub itself looked dirty and unmaintained. It just added to the overall feeling that the place wasn’t being cared for at all. For the price we paid, this was a total waste of money. The whole experience was horrible. I would not recommend staying here to anyone—save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.

2 weeks agoI also am a Diamond member. I have stayed in plenty of homestead suites and this is by far THE WORST STAY EVER!!! That is not an understatement. First off, the reviews from Google, Hilton honors, etc are spot on and no lies told. There are 7 floors and of course we stayed on the 7th floor. The only working elevator, yes singular, was the service elevator. One of the maintenance guys told me that the hotel just got approved for some overdue renovations and they are starting with the elevators first. You are better off taking the steps because the elevator is one button away from being a scene out of final destination. Our first night there, fire alarm went off at 2am. After 30 mins or so of confusion and trying to get answers from anyone, the receptionist at the front desk said it was a false alarm. Not surprising due to the state of this hotel, it's amazing how it passes inspection for anything. Our room was decent enough but I had welts all over my arms, neck and legs from some type of bug or dust mites. My wife and son got sick as well. I could go on and on but you should get the point by now. It's a shame because I grew up in this area and this hotel was no where near this bad 10+ years ago. Even if they demolished and rebuilt this hotel, we'll never stay here again. Only reason we stayed here is because of the convenience and the room was free but we definitely paid for it in the end. If I could give this negative stars I would.

2 weeks agoThe air conditioning is barely working and the room & lobby are way too hot. The carpet feels wet and is badly stained. There are no utensils in the kitchen to eat with and no soap in the bathrooms. This place is a dump.
