This a a quiet little nature park tucked away in a neighborhood. It has a creek that is excellent for kids to play in. It is a perfect spot to take children to in the summer to play. There is even a little waterfall area if you follow the creek to left after crossing the wooden bridge. We didn’t explore the trails much, but we did notice a bridge/path over the creek was missing in one area. Not very handicap accessible or stroller friendly in most places.
Raleigh (and all cities) need more parks like this one... just a simple, LARGE, piece of forest with lots of meandering trails through it. Simple, ideal.
