We didn't loop, but we enjoyed the long spur leading to the loop. Deceptive inclines, but nothing a moderate-trail hiker cannot handle.

The west trail is much more fun compared to the east trail. Mostly gravel track till you get to the loops. The loops turn into dirt paths. Paths are a bit overgrown but still navigatable. Markers are common and easy to see.

We had a nice walk through the forest and the dog loved it.
