This is a moderate hike; some up and downs that got us winded, where we had to take some breaks along the way. Definitely worth the time. Great views along the way, especially once you reach the cave.

Great hike, as others have said, it gets challenging the last 1/4 up, but not too bad, just take your time, nothing technical. By the time you start to feel it, you’re pretty much there. Cave and view was well worth the hike up. Took about 50 mins from parking lot to the cave. Trail is relatively easy to follow, i had cell service the whole time, even inside the cave, you can download All trails map to be safe, but should be able to still access it via internet if needed. Parking lot is easy to find but not a whole lot of space, I can see it filling up quick. You can see the cave from the parking lot and use the larger mountain just above it as your guide as the cave will move out of sight from certain spots, but the mountain overlook will be insight the whole time. Getting to the parking spot, you will drive on a dirt road for about 2.5 miles after the pavement ends. The dirt road is mostly flat, any vehicle should be fine to get to the parking lot, saw lots of sedans there. Overall, great hike for this time of year, bring plenty of water as always and have a great time. (Hiking poles, not completely necessary for this hike but will help coming down and keeping distance from any snakes)
