Love Pop

There’s no way I’ll be able to keep this short, so here’s the headline: If you want a caterer who feels like a partner and will leave you and your guests raving for weeks, hire Love Pop. Jeff and his team are culinary artists who will curate the perfect menu for your event, and then execute every dish on that menu to perfection. If you’re just here for the food review, feel free to skip to everything below “OH MY GOSH”. But working with Love Pop is about more than incredible food. The communication, attention to detail, and presentation were all above and beyond anything we expected. My husband and I planned our wedding reception in just 6 weeks…yikes. So when I called Jeff with less than 2 months to go I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did he have availability, but immediately was excited to jump in. He spent an hour on the phone with me talking about the event and helping shape my vague ideas. I can’t say how much that first contact point did to turn my planning anxiety into excitement. We wanted a non-traditional, mingle-style reception, so rather than a seated meal we opted for several food stations. The only real guidance I had given Jeff was that we definitely wanted a walking taco station and that we had loved the food on a recent trip to Portugal. A few days later he sent a proposal that blew me away with the level of thought and research he’d clearly put in. Jeff took everything I shared and turned it into a cohesive street food concept that felt so perfect. On the day of the event, everything was set up beautifully, complete with thoughtful retro details that matched the vibe perfectly. The team was friendly, helpful, and as excited to be there as we were. And OH MY GOSH…the food. We started with a grazing table that multiple people have told me has ruined all other charcuterie boards for them. Then the food stations opened up and the next hour may have been the most delicious of my life. I started with the brisket walking tacos and had to force myself to slow down so that I could properly savor each bite. Then my next stop was the Kebob station where perfectly roasted vegetables, the most tender lamb strips and tangy piri piri chicken melted in my mouth. Finally, I tried the bifana sliders. Bifana is a classic Portuguese street food that I’d never even heard of, but Jeff had suggested in his proposal. I would happily eat those sliders every day for the rest of my life. Don’t forget the desserts! Dark chocolate fondue, churros, pasteis de nata, and mini blueberry pies with a lavender drizzle…. I didn’t end up trying any of the desserts that night, but luckily the Love Pop team saved me some pies and they were just as amazing the next day! Believe it or not I could say so much more, but I’ll leave it at this: I am confident you will not find another catering team who can deliver on every front at same level as Love Pop.

Love pop did an amazing job catering and decorating for our wedding. They arrived early and brought all the items they needed for cooking and decorating! Absolutely worked magic with flower arrangements and the food was amazing! Highly recommend them for any party, wedding or event!

We had an amazing experience with Love Pop Catering for our event with Koelbel this past Saturday. Their team was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive, the food was excellent, and the bartending service was seamless. Communication throughout the entire planning process was also outstanding, which made everything easy and stress-free.
