in the last weekIt was good, nothing crazy. The vibe a bit interesting since it was an upscale pub, but they served Cajun food and were blasting 2000s pop music. I mean I'm not complaining. I enjoyed my Mac and cheese very much. Not a huge menu, so be ready for that.

in the last weekWe were very disappointed with our dinner experience last night at Merchant Madison Wisconsin. After driving all the way from Chicago and arriving very hungry, we were really hoping for a great meal, but unfortunately it was the opposite. I ordered a NY strip steak well done, but it still arrived red inside, and was also only warm, not hot, and seemed like it had been sitting for a while before being served. I even asked for it to be cooked more, but it still was not prepared proper. The garlic butter lacked garlic flavor and tasted mostly salty. We also ordered the Blackened shrimp, Parmesan crusted shrimp cakes, and asparagus, all of them were overly salty and not enjoyable. The service was also disappointing. No one checked on us after we were seated, and we were not served water until we asked after waiting about 30 minutes. We also ordered drinks, but they didn’t arrive until after the food came out. Overall, the food was not tasty, the service was poor, and the experience was not worth the price. Sadly, it turned what we hoped would be a nice dinner into a frustrating experience.
