Love the gift shop. Really unique items

Amazing history and so beautiful! Nothing like what I thought it was going to be but it was so cool! We spent about an hour looking at everything, making sure to read it all and take pictures of all the petrified wood and nature signs that stood out to us. I recommend 100% if you’re in the area and enjoy learning about nature. Young man behind the counter was soft spoken and polite, seemed content to be there!

Who knew there was a petrified forest is Mississippi? I sure didn't! Its a very short walk, 30 minutes if you stop at every marker. Nice gift shop, we took home some official MS Petrified Wood (legally from the shop) and a few gems/crystals that we found pretty.
