Ny dominican salón

First off, this isn’t your typical hair salon and I don’t mean that in a negative way at all. If you’re familiar with how Dominican hair salons are run on the East Coast, then this won’t come as a surprise. However, if you were born and raised in California and have never stepped outside of Temecula, this experience may feel a little foreign. Now, onto the service: the wash was sooo good! My scalp feels incredibly clean. The cut, the style, and the overall vibes were immaculate. All of the ladies were extremely knowledgeable. I didn’t have to explain my hair type or texture because they immediately understood just by touching it. They also gave me post-care instructions to help extend the life of my style for as long as possible. It truly felt like I walked into a friend’s salon rather than a sales-focused appointment. My hair and scalp feel amazing. I won’t be going anywhere else.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I was really disappointed by my experience. I arrived for my scheduled appointment and although everyone was friendly, I ended up waiting over an hour before being seen. I was told I would be helped after one more client, but the wait continued far longer than expected. The most frustrating part was the payment situation. I booked through the salon’s online portal and paid a deposit there. I was later told the deposit would be refunded and that I would instead pay for services through Zelle, which I did. Today, I received an email saying I was charged a no-show fee, meaning the original deposit is now processing as a final charge as well. I did attend my appointment and even waited over an hour for service, so being charged as a no-show is extremely frustrating. I attempted to call to resolve the issue directly before posting this review but wasn’t able to get through. I’m hoping this can be corrected because I’ve tried to be patient and understanding throughout the process.

I have not had my hair in such good condition in 5 years. Got an incredible wash (scalp was sparkling clean), trim, blow dry and hair extensions clipped in! The staff is professional, hygienic, salon is spotless, full of charisma and family. Please support this small business, it’s worth every penny. I will be back!!!
