5 months agoIn the area I live in everyone has heard of Garwood's Orchards. We like the place, however, they have this idea that some apples should cost more than others. Radke's doesn't do that. There is no difference price between a Honeycrisp, Cortland. Granny Smith, or a Paula Red. Apples are apples and I love that. We also love picking our own and taking our dog with us. All the different types get put in one bag and weighed. There is also no massive crowd in the store. Parking, however, can often be a challenge. Nevertheless, I prefer to go to Radke first and foremost, and Garwood's in November for apple cider.

6 months agoWe go here each fall for apples. Good prices per lb for u-pick apples. We always get get some apple cider donuts for the road. I like it here because it's just a nice orchard to pick apples. There's no extra rides, fees or circus just fun with the family picking apples. If you don't want to pick they sell them in their store already picked as well.
