The NOW Massage Burlingame

I would say my experience here is around 3.5/4 stars. The space is beautiful but the massage therapist can be hit or miss. The front desk team also seems to be changing all the time. I've been a member for quite sometime and was on the verge of canceling this year until I finally found a therapist that matched my vibe. La Roz was so intuitive and just GOT IT but she's gone now. Her massages were 100/10 for me. I've referred so many of my friends to her, now I have to find someone new again. SO disappointed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredible experience at The Now Massage in Burlingame! As soon as you walk in, the amazing decor and wonderful scent set a very peaceful tone. The staff is incredibly accommodating and instantly puts you at ease. My massage therapist, Mary, was absolutely fantastic. I went in with a lot of side pain, and she was so knowledgeable. She knew exactly how to focus on the pain and even named the specific muscle groups that were bothering me, which was so surprising and impressive. She is incredibly smart and really understands the body. Her targeted work helped immensely, and the next morning I woke up feeling absolutely great. I highly recommend Mary and this beautiful, relaxing location!

I wish I had taken photos, I will next time I go. I made an appointment at The Now Massage in Burlingame. It was everything I prayed for really. I asked the Lord to give me someone who could see where my pain is, that they would have the right pressure, and that the atmosphere would be pleasant. It was all of that. Not pretend customer service, it was sincere. Honestly, you wouldn’t know the inside is as big as it is. Very nice decor and calming. Sometimes, I’m afraid to review something and to like something because then when you try it again things change up. Hopefully this place will not change. I got the Healer Body Massage with the Gua Sha added to it. I hope I said that right. 🤭My massage therapist was Nadia, who did an excellent job. The last 2 years has been a lot for me, I lost my dad, I lost my best cousin last month, attended his funeral on my birthday, and a family friend a week later. Plus daily battles. With that being said, I needed this massage and, I’m really grateful for my experience . I will return. If you’re in the area for vacation, or you live in the area, consider this place for a massage. I believe you will enjoy the experience . Thank you! 🏽

Very disappointing first experience. I had booked a massage and was considering trying this place with the possibility of becoming a member. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected water pipe emergency at home and called first thing in the morning to reschedule. I explained the situation and asked whether there was any availability later that day or in the following days. The only option offered later that day was 7 pm, which did not work because my child would be home then, and I obviously could not bring a child to a massage appointment or relax under those circumstances. Despite this, they insisted on their 12-hour cancellation policy and charged me 50% of the service price — $65 — for no service. I understand that businesses need cancellation policies, but this felt very inflexible for a genuine home emergency, especially for a first-time customer who was actively trying to reschedule. Based on this customer service experience, I will not be returning or becoming a member.

My massage with Orlando was what I needed. Very intuitive in his flow. I’ll rebook with him and that is the strongest statement I can make.
