8 months agoShort hike. Not too strenuous. Some paths will take you to the water and some are far enough to be safe yet close enough to enjoy the scenery. Wading pools are located in several spots along the creek...perfect for little ones. Be careful - those wet rocks can be very slippery. Check out the tree along the trail that is growing on top of a rock. I wonder how it is still standing

8 years agoAn excellent trail to walk with some outstanding views. I would rank this trail as easy. My wife and I hiked it and both enjoyed it. Much of the trail walks along the side a rock mountain with rock formations to view. Once you get to the vista you can oversee the river and dam. Was able to get some excellent photos of different plants along the way.

1 year agoI really enjoyed this trail, beautiful bluffs. 1 mile each way giving you a 2 mile hike. 96 stairs at the end up to the Dam Overlook. I rate this moderate due to Rocks and roots to navigate on stepping if that matters to you and the stairs. That being said I didn’t have any trouble.

7 months agoReally beautiful out and back trail. Terrain is rocky and uneven but relatively flat. There is an adjacent road if you feel like walking on that instead.
