3 weeks agoGreat combination of trails with lots many options depending on how many miles you want to cover. I took the 4 mile south ridge trail which offered lots of challenging elevation changes, taking me through the tree lined trail down to follow the lake edge before returning to the parking lot which has an amazing view across the Lake. The trail was well maintained with signposts at junctions and prolific painted tree markers - you’d struggle to get lost! The flower and butterflies are few, but very impressive. I’ll be back to explore more of the trails!

2 months agoGreat scenic overlook and trail head. Plenty of picnic tables and parking is limited (some of those vehicles may actually be hikers). Please pack your own trash out, there are no trash cans. Keep it beautiful for the next visitors.
