a week agoLittle more than a mile to the falls, can go further but the falls is the main attraction. Can climb down if Desiree, was a rope to help ascent tied off as its steep snd slippery clay at the actual sink hole/falls

a week agoThis was a fantastic hike! It IS a moderate hike, but there was young and old on the hike. It takes about 45-60 minutes to get to the top. The parking area is NOT where Google Maps show. You have to drive a bit past it for a gravel parking lot on McMullen Road. It does have a good size sign in the parking lot. The trail is pretty well marked and we had no issues finding the falls. The trip to the top was definitely worth it! That being said, we went a couple days after a good rain, so I don’t know if that made it better or if the falls run all the time. I assume they run all the time, but not sure. If you are adventurous, there is a rope to lower down into the falls, which I did do. It was a blast.
