L.A. Radiator & Automotive

So I went to him because my ac stop blowing Thur the front vents. When I get there he comes out gets in the car plays with the climate controls in the car he doesn’t lift the hood nothing. He like it’s the blow motor I’m like you sure. He says yes. So we go to his office he tells me he 100% sure it’s the blow motor. He says to fix that it’s going be a little over a $1000.00 to fixe it. Remind you he didn’t check nothing no fuses nothing. So I was told a $1000.00 and 4-5 hours. So I did my research. Google said it’s 1-2 things could be messed up the blow motor or the fuse. So what did i do I go to auto zone and buy a $7.00 fuse and stick it in and long behold my ac works just find. Don’t get it wrong I understand he has a company and he needs that company to make money. But when it comes to a customer you want to be honest and fair. Don’t try to get over on some body who is trying to make a living just like you. You could have checked the fuse and made a few bucks plus future customers but no instead you wanted to be greedy and that’s not cool. So to anyone that thinks coming here go and see what he says but in today time YouTube is powerful and it’s never wrong thank you and hope this helps anyone who thinking of using him.

DO NOT GO HERE! I am a navy vet, thought this company would be honorable, NOPE! I called earlier today on MLK DAY! Asked about labor for my 2008 Jeep Commander. I was quote at $295. I thought, that is reasonable. I called around decided, I will go with quote. I called to confirm the price quote and the guy said yes, I can do that price. So knowing my Jeep is messed up, I drove it to the shop. I get there, the guy can't open my jeep hood so I help him. He then proceeds to use a pump to test the leak I told him the exact location because I told him a mobile mechanic came out to my apt and told me where it was. I told the shop I bought the radiator, upper and lower hoses from Autozone and just needed install. He get fluid all over him standing in front of where the leak was!! I ask if he is alright front the hot liquid pouring out. He then goes to the office, comes back and says its 500 dollars and going to take over 3 hours. I look at him and tell him that isn't what we agreed on twice. I takes me for a sucker or stupid and says that's why we don't like giving a quote over the phone, we like to see what is wrong and then charge for it. Doubling the price or bait and switch the price is the MO for the shop and please don't go here. There will try and use your misfortune for their gain and profit, Worst shop I have gone to in my 10 plus years of living in Los Angeles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guy even saw my Navy ball cap in the window and lied to my face easily. I work with homeless veterans everyday, I am an honorable person and I believe in helping people and this shop is terrible!!!!!!

I will recommend LA Radiator & Automotive to all of my family and friends and will continue to go back! He was extremely helpful and accommodating when I was in a stressful car accident. He took the time to explain everything with my car, helped take pictures for my car insurance claim, and was communicative in when my car would be ready. 100/10!!!
