Oleana offers an intimate and enchanting Mediterranean dining experience in Cambridge. This restaurant has earned a reputation for its robust flavors and balanced dishes that provide a fresh take on traditional Mediterranean cuisine. Guests often highlight the warm, cozy atmosphere coupled with the small, perfectly portioned plates that leave diners fully satisfied.
Favorites like Sultan’s Delight and Vermont Quail Kebab showcase the chef’s skill in blending intense and harmonious flavors. The Za’tar bread and fatten are also crowd-pleasers, alongside standout dishes such as the baked Alaska dessert and lamb preparations, which many consider phenomenal. While the shrimp dish divides opinions, the overall menu delights with unique takes and exceptional taste. Oleana’s popularity means reservations are essential, especially for weekend dinners. in the last weekDelicious food served in a sequential, small-plate format. The white bean salad, cauliflower, and Sultan’s delight were excellent: surprising, complex flavor combinations and varied, complementary textures. The moussaka was rich and tender, with some of the most delicately perfumed potatoes I’ve had. The chocolate pudding dessert was also stunning, though be warned: a single one is more than enough for two people. The shrimp shish and eggplant dolmas were very good, though not quite as remarkable as the other dishes. Our server had good recommendations.
