Nice trail! Some uphill, especially at the end, but not bad. The last climb down to the tunnel looks daunting, but take the path to the left and it's pretty easy. Took me a minute to figure this out. We ran into a moose on the way out. Surprised the heck out of us, but apparently not an isolated incident in the area. Trail is primarily shaded, so dress appropriately.
Hike was fairly easy, a lot of little inclines that kick your butt Can’t go inside the mine, but you can walk down to it A lot of history you can read on the way up to the mine Chipmunk 🐿️ was very friendly
